Research Interests:
Our research investigates how management practices impact resilience of agroecosystems to multiple stresses and the underlying mechanisms. In particular, we are interested in characterizing how and to what extent diversification (crop diversity, livestock integration) and organic inputs help build resilient soil processes and communities in various agroecosystems. We also explore the potential of root traits and rhizosphere processes to harness improvement in soil health and mitigate the impacts of drought and insect-virus pathosystems.
